Sóttkví Festival

    Sóttkví is an online music festival that started in march at the beginning of the worldwide COVID-19 lockdown. It was created at the instigation of Anna Worthington De Matos followed by Sacha Bernardson. I rapidly joined the team as a musician, then as a technician helping other artists to configure their streaming setup. We started with Zoom (good for simplicity, but shitty as f*** when it comes to security, customization and audio quality), but next time we will use OBS with a custom RTMP server I already set up.

    I ended up writing a full guide about live streaming musical performances from home for most kind (I hope) of musicians and bands.
